Missing Internet Explorer 6 icon or how to place Internet Explorer 6 icon on the desktop of Windows XP

1) Right on the desktop, (The Desktop is area that contains icons like "My Computer", "My Documents", "Recycle Bin", etc)
2) You will be displayed with options like: "Arrange Icons By", "Refresh", "Paste", "Paste Shortcut", "New", etc.
3) Select "New" and then select "Shortcut" option which contains an arrow with it.
4) Then you will be displayed with a window named "Create Shortcut", Click on "Browse" button,
5) You will be displayed with "Browse For Folder" window, Click on "+" mark or icon that is located adjacent to "My Computer", Then click on "+" icon located adjacent to "Local Disk (C:)", then click on "+" icon adjacent to "Program files", then search for "Internet Explorer", then click on "+" icon located adjacent to "Internet Explorer", then search for "Internet Explorer" icon.
6) Just single click on the Internet Explorer icon, then click on "OK" button.
7) You will be taken back to "Create Shortcut" window. Just click on "Next" button and finally click on "Finish" button. You will see a Internet Explorer icon back on your desktop.
