Shortcut to know the version and edition of Windows

First method:

Click on the “Start” button.
Click on “Run”
In the Run box type “winver” without the quotes.
Click on OK.

Second method:

1. Right-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.

2. Click on "Properties". Under the General tab, you will find that information.
