Method 1:
1) Right Click on the taskbar, then choose Properties.
2) Click on the Start Menu Tab then click on the Customize Button
3) Scroll down towards the bottom of the list and look for the box for Run Command and put a check mark by it.
4) Then click Apply and you are done.
Method 2:
1) Right click on the Start menu.
2) Select Properties option from the displayed options.
3) Then clicking Customize on the ensuing dialog window, you will be taken to "Customize Start Menu screen" window.
4) Scroll down and search for "Run command". Run command option is located in between "Printers" and "Search" options.
5) Click inside the small square box that is present opposite to the Run command (nothing but out a check mark by clicking inside the square box).
6) Click on Apply or Ok.
By following the above steps, you can have Run button back on the Start menu.
