How to prevent Click sound in Internet Explorer 7?

1) Click on Start button.
2) Click on Control Panel.
3) Sounds and Audio Devices.
4) You will be displayed with a window named "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties".
5) There you can see tabs like: Volume, Sound, Audio, Voice, hardware.
6) Click on Sound tab.
7) Under "Program Events", scroll down and search for "Windows Explorer". There the last option is "Start Navigation", click on it to highlight the same.
8) Next exactly below "Program Events" you will find "Sounds:" frame.
9) So, under "Sounds" option, click on down arrow, now you will be displayed with a pop-up menu. Scroll to the top of list and click on "None" option.
10) Click on "Apply" button to save the changes and finally click on "Ok" button.

So, by following the above steps you can prevent the annoying click sound while you browse using Internet Explorer 7.
