Clean startup in Windows XP

1. Click 'Start'

2. Click 'Run'

3. Type msconfig.exe in the run command

4. Press 'Enter'

Then you can see a box called "System Configuration Utility", this will help you to identify all the startup programs which start when you boot or start your Windows XP computer.

Once "System Configuration Utility" displayed, click on the "Startup" tab.

You will see a list of items and the 2 columns that we're interested in "Startup Item" in Windows XP.

Now, please 'UN-CHECK' only the programs which you do not want to start when you start you computer, please do not un-check any other program or file.
