Turn On/Off the formula bar in Excel

On the main menu bar
1. Click Tools2. Select Options3. Select the View tab4. Removing a checkmark next to the Formula bar option will remove the formula bar. Placing a checkmark next to the Formula bar option will add the formula bar. Click OK.
